The Kramer’s Inn Building Through Time

The building now known as 18135 Highway 12, in Boyes Hot Springs, is one of the oldest commercial buildings in the area. The original business, Kramer’s Inn, goes back at least to 1918. That building was destroyed in the great fire of 1923, and the current one dates from that year. It has housed many other businesses since, including, Keller’s, Mike and Rose’s Grocery, Mas por Menos, Highway Tattoo, Lucrative Clothing Store, Onesome Cowboy Ranch, Heritage Furniture, and now, in 2026, The Art of Upholstering.

Long may it stand and serve our community!
